SLMDA Urge Adherence to Protocols When Voting

The Saint Lucia Medical and Dental Association has reminded citizens who will be heading to the polls today, Monday, July 26, 2021, to exercise the sacred franchise of voting to elect those who will govern for the next five years to follow the protocols put in place.

“Let us all remember that COVID-19 is still a very real, very present threat which continues to claim lives; young and old,” the association reiterated.

“We urge you our fellow citizens to adhere to the tried and tested public health protocols. Please ensure that you wear your masks correctly, continuously sanitize your hands and in as much as possible when standing in line, stay six feet from others. If you feel unwell or have respiratory symptoms please seek medical advice.”
