Today Monday, July 5, 2021 the Ministry of Health and Wellness reports no new cases of COVID-19 from a batch of 128 samples taken during the period June 29, 2021 to July 4, 2021. These samples were processed on July 4, 2021.
The Ministry of Health also received confirmation of the recovery of 12 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19. This brings the total number of active cases currently recorded in country to date to 83. Presently, three of the active cases are requiring critical care at the Respiratory Hospital. The total number of COVID-19 cases diagnosed in country to date is 5326.
As of July 1, 2021 a total of 30, 989 individuals have received the first dose of the vaccine and 22, 103 individuals have received the second dose of the vaccine.
