Public Sector Employees learn coping mechanisms for dealing with Covid-19- associated Anxiety and Depression

The Department of the Public Service through the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) will be conducting a repeat of presentations to public sector employees.

These presentations will serve as a tool in helping officers become more aware of their emotional state and better able to manage the natural fallouts of anxiety and depression, etc., associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.

The current round of presentations will focus on two topics namely: “How to Cope with Anxiety” and “How to Cope with Depression and associated factors such as loneliness, isolation etc.” and will be held on Wednesday 23rd June and Thursday 24th June 2021 respectively.

Both presentations are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. via the Zoom platform, however, recognizing that Zoom has a 300 capacity limit, priority will be given to the first three hundred applicants.
