Concerns and fears by a few of interruptions in the C.X.C examination timetable were allayed by the Department of Education.
In a Tuesday afternoon notification, the Department of Education Innovation and Gender Relations informed all candidates due to sit CXC CSEC and CAPE Examinations on Monday, July 26th, 2021 that these exams will be administered as normal.
Candidates were also informed that the exams will not be rescheduled as a result of the General Elections, which will be held on that same day. Candidates were further advised to make their necessary plans to exercise their franchise outside of the scheduled time for the examinations.
Saint Lucians will take to the polls on Monday, July 26th in what has been dubbed “the most important election in island history”.
