THE Legends carnival band is at it again, not only with outfits that are smoking hot this year but with partners associated with brands of a premium nature.

And who would have thought that this all- inclusive band, which emerged from the band ‘Red Unlimited’ three years ago, would have evolved into the premium carnival band that it is today?

And if 2014 and 2015 are yardsticks by which a carnival band’s success could be measured with its portrayal of ‘A Tribute to Desmond McNamara’ and ‘The Rebellion’ respectively, then Legends in 2016 will blow the roof off carnival, so to speak, when it takes to the streets later this year.

This year the band presents ‘The Sovereign’, a theme derived from the fictional royal family of Ayo who was forced to return to their homeland after hearing of their brother’s death.

The theme was launched in the form of a short film last Monday at Caribbean Cinemas in red carpet style.

This ultra-premium small mass band will feature three sections for this year’s carnival namely, the Virgin Queen, an all- female section; the Tyrants, which will include both males and females and the Vixen warrior, another female only section.

The band derives its premium label from the quality of service it delivers to its members, the drinks it supplies itself with when on the road to its revellers which are all of a premium brand and the quality of music it plays having already confirmed the services of international disc jockey, Private Ryan.
