A briefing on the 2016 Taiwan Scholarships, ICDF Scholarships and I-SHOU Medical School Scholarships was held by the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on Thursday at the Orchid Centre, Union.
The applicants for these scholarship programmes should deliver thei application documents to the Embassy by March 15. The Embassy said it would not accept such documents after that date.
The applicants should come in person to the Embassy for interviews on March 23 and 24. Only qualified applicants will receive notice. The Embassy said that any change in interview dates will be notified by phone.
For the I-SHOU Medical School Scholarship applicants, there will be additional written exam and interview, both to be held at the Embassy. The written exam covers topics on English, chemistry and biology. The examination date is tentatively scheduled on April 22. Interviews will be conducted via Skype with a professor from Taiwan. The provisional dates for these interviews dates are April 27 and 28.
