CPJ Welcomes SALCC Interns

CPJ St. Lucia Ltd. has sort to reaffirmed its commitment to national development and youth empowerment by welcoming seven second-year students from the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College to participate in a one-month internship programme across several key departments of the organization.

The internship, which commenced on Monday, June 2nd, places students in the Human Resources, Retail, Warehouse, and Marketing departments. The initiative is expected to offer hands-on exposure to real-world business functions, enabling participants to apply their academic knowledge in a fast-paced corporate setting.

All interns are currently pursuing programmes under the Division of Business Studies and will be immersed in various aspects of CPJ’s operations. Over the course of the month, they are expected to gain valuable professional experience and develop key competencies including customer service, time management, problem-solving, and business operations.

“This internship reflects CPJ’s ongoing dedication to supporting education and preparing young people for the realities of the working world,” said Tara George, Human Resources Manager at CPJ. “We are proud to invest in these students’ development and to provide them with mentorship that will strengthen their career readiness.”

The students will be working alongside CPJ professionals, contributing to key areas of the business while gaining insight into the food and beverage distribution industry.
