Ministry of Health Ongoing Surveys

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs is informing the public of its two ongoing surveys, one on Universal Health Coverage and the other on the effects of COVID-19 on diet, exercise and Non-Communicable Diseases.

According to the ministry, the surveys are meant to gather information to assist it in developing policies and plans to better serve the population.

The survey on the effects of COVID-19 on diet, exercise and non-communicable diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension is being conducted via telephone by a team of trained personnel. The survey on Universal Health Coverage will be conducted online and the link will be sent using text message, Zimbra email, or GOSL websites and social medica pages.

ā€œPlease note that Ministry of Health has NOT commissioned any in-person or face to face surveys. Hence, at no time should anyone visit your premises to conduct these surveys on behalf of the Ministry of Health,ā€ a press release from the ministry stated.

The ministry urges the public to be vigilant and to participate in its surveys via the above-mentioned platforms.
