ST JOHN’S, Antigua, Jan. 30. CMC – Trinidadian all-rounder Kevon Cooper is set to undergo surgery here after sustaining a broken nose in an on-field collision during Sunday’s night Regional Super50 game between Leeward Islands Hurricanes and Windward Islands Volcanoes at Coolidge Cricket Ground.
The 27-year-old, who is representing Hurricanes in the ongoing 50-overs competition, collided with teammate Gavin Tonge on the ropes at mid-wicket during the Volcanoes innings, as both players attempted to take a catch in the deep.
