ST. LUCIA Distillers / Chairman’s Reserve Spiced Ball in hand Pool Tournament is ready to get underway. Sixteen bars islandwide will share in the excitement as the best pool players converge and battle it out.
The six week long tournament is scheduled to Cue up next Friday from 7:00 p.m. at Skips Bar in Castries. The following day the action continues from 7:00 p.m. at Soaps Bar in Anse la Raye.
According to Marketing Manager for St.Lucia Distillers Sergin John – Baptiste, in the interest of time at the various locations 16 players is a manageable number as each match up is the best of three, until there is a winner who then advance to the finals.
She continued, “SLD by extension Chairman’s Reserve Spiced has been having this tournament for the past three years and building on the success from the past tournaments held. We are committed to continuing this venture as it gives the avid pools playersislandwide the opportunity to showcase their skills in an organized and competitive atmosphere”.
The 2015 champion will take home EC1500.00, the second place finisher EC$1,000.00, while the third place, will get EC$500.00.
