“The General Elections will take place on Monday, December 1, 2025, and Nomination Day will be Friday, November 21, 2025,” stated PM Pierre.

The Market Steps—a traditional SLP venue often referred to as the ‘University of the People’—was alive with vibrant speeches and enthusiastic supporters rallying behind their respective parliamentary representatives (MPs) or prospective candidates.

The constituency entourages arrived in a vibrant ‘wave of red,’ energized by SLP-themed music that set an electrifying tempo and momentum for the event.

As the evening’s event unfolded , the gathering spotlighted the SLP’s impressive record. Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre, the Political Leader, confidently received a vote of confidence from SLP delegates, emphasizing the party’s significant achievements and leadership.

In his opening remarks, PM Pierre reminded everyone that the SLP administration made a bold commitment “to manage an inclusive, equitable, and just society.”

He declared, “Four years later, I am proud of the remarkable progress we’ve made, despite the formidable challenges we faced.”

The SLP’s leader asserted, “This progress reflects the power of honest, transparent leadership. When vision remains steady and service is guided by one simple principle—putting people first—great things happen.”

From infrastructure to healthcare, education to economic opportunity, the Saint Lucia Labour Party has relentlessly worked to improve lives across the nation. Our promises are not just words; they have turned into tangible results.”

One of the featured speakers at the Market Steps, Tourism Minister and MP for Castries South, Dr. Ernest Hilaire, emphasized that upon taking office, the SLP “acted swiftly to stabilize a broken economy, protect jobs, and restore confidence.”

He underscored, “Through prudent management, honest leadership, and people-centred policies, we turned the situation around. Within just one year, the Saint Lucia Labour Party transformed economic decline into record-breaking growth.”
