Saint Lucia’s Senior National Table Tennis Team is set to represent the island at the 2025 Caribbean Regional Table Tennis Federation (CRTTF) Championships, scheduled to take place in Barbados from June 17 to 22, 2025.
The four-member team includes some of the nation’s top talents, two of whom—Joshua Lubin and Manie Eleuthere—are also the country’s leading junior players. Rounding off the squad are De Andre Calderon and Dawitt Nurse, both of whom transitioned to the senior level earlier this year.
Over the course of the six-day tournament, the athletes will compete in three key events: the Team Event, Men’s Doubles, and Men’s Singles. The championships are expected to draw the best players from across the Caribbean in what is considered the region’s most prestigious table tennis showdown.
The Saint Lucia Table Tennis Association has extended its full support and best wishes to the national team as they head into battle, proudly flying the island’s flag.
“We’re incredibly proud of these young men,” a spokesperson said. “They’ve trained hard, shown great commitment, and now have the opportunity to compete at the highest level in the Caribbean. We know they’ll make us proud.”
Saint Lucians will no doubt be watching closely, cheering on their champions as they take to the tables in Barbados.
