In a bold fusion of culture, commerce, and creativity, Saint Lucia is set to make a meaningful and strategic impact at Caribbean Week 2025 in New York, hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) from June 1st to 5th.
Under the leadership of Honourable Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Minister of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, the Saint Lucia delegation will highlight the island’s continued ascent as both a cultural standard-bearer and an emerging economic force in the region and on the world stage.

Accompanying the Minister are Louis Lewis, CEO of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA), and Dexter Percil, Director of Global Marketing, along with members of the PR and Marketing teams, all committed to advancing Saint Lucia’s global footprint through innovation, partnership, and cultural diplomacy.
This year’s participation marks a continued commitment to elevating Saint Lucia’s profile within the Caribbean and beyond. A key highlight will be advancing the island’s partnership with the New York Yankees for a second consecutive year through a dynamic branding initiative at the iconic Yankee Stadium.
On Tuesday, June 3rd, the New York Yankees will face the Cleveland Guardians at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, with the game starting at 7:05 PM Eastern Time (ET). The game will be broadcast on TBS, YES Network, and CLEG, providing a prime platform for Saint Lucia to showcase its vibrant culture and tourism offerings.
Through a strategic mix of digital and static branding, Saint Lucia’s presence will reach tens of thousands of fans in attendance as well as millions of viewers worldwide.

Adding to the excitement, renowned Saint Lucian Dennery Segment and Soca artists Lashley “Motto” Winter and Teddyson John will headline a Cultural Showcase on June 5th and perform at a Saint Lucia Diaspora event on June 6th.
These performances are more than just musical presentations, they represent the island’s rich heritage and the spirit of Saint Lucia, with both artists serving as cultural ambassadors.
In addition, Louis Lewis and Motto will participate in an insightful panel discussion focused on the Orange Economy and Saint Lucia’s innovative strategy to foster economic growth through creative industries.
Saint Lucia’s participation in Caribbean Week 2025 promises to deepen regional collaboration, boost cultural diplomacy, and enhance international visibility, all key pillars in the island’s ongoing journey toward sustainable and inclusive growth.
