Three exciting matches played over the weekend in the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc. Under-12 Boys District League delivered decisive victories for Soufriere, Gros Islet, and Roseau Valley.
The competition, which is powered by the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports, the National Lotteries Authority, and ACADO, continued to showcase the budding talent of young footballers across the island.

At the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery, on Saturday, May 31, Soufriere triumphed over Mon Repos with a commanding 4–1 win. The star of the match was Abayomi Cazaubon, who netted an impressive four goals in the 5th, 14th, 15th, and 40th minutes. Mon Repos managed a consolation goal in the 49th minute, courtesy of Sanjay Felix.
However, not all matches went ahead as planned. The scheduled clash between Laborie and Micoud was called off after neither team showed up for their encounter.
Action resumed on Sunday, June 1, at the Corinth Playing Field, where Gros Islet extended their unbeaten streak with a dominant 4–0 victory over Babonneau. Daniel Slieman led the charge with a brace, scoring a penalty in the 35th minute and another goal in the 40th. Keeman Ferdinand opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, while Suarez Charles added another in the 20th.

The final match of the day saw a closely contested battle between Roseau Valley and La Clery. A lone goal by Urian Charlery was enough to give Roseau Valley a narrow 1–0 win.
The SLFA Under-12 District League continues to grow in excitement as young footballers compete with passion and promise for district pride.
