On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, about 4:30 p.m. Police Officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, Vieux Fort, responded to a report of a homicide at Black Bay, Vieux Fort.
Initial inquiries revealed that one unresponsive male was discovered with an apparent slash wound, in the mangrove at Black Bay, Vieux Fort. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
The deceased has been identified as thirty-nine-year-old Darby Ettiene of La Resource, Vieux Fort.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is appealing to anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 456-3754 or 456-3756.
