Ministry of Commerce Refutes Claims of Empty Supply Warehouse

The Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs categorically refutes recent claims circulating via various media platforms suggesting that the Government Supply Warehouse is empty and that there is no stock of flour available for distribution. 

Contrary to these reports, the Director of Consumer Affairs Mrs. Wendy Frederick confirms that the supply warehouse remains operational and adequately stocked with essential food items, including flour. Regular inventory assessments and internal audits have verified that supplies remain within optimal levels to serve the nation’s needs.

In addition, the Ministry of Commerce has confirmed the continued availability and distribution of flour to commercial retailers, bakeries, and other essential service providers. The Ministry of Commerce urges members of the public to not give credence to unverified information.
