Understanding the value of developing public speaking skills in our youth, The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College {SALCC} has awarded the winner with a full scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually.

“The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College is proud to partner with the Ministry of Tourism in this meaningful endeavour, which provides the youth with an opportunity to hone their communication and leadership skills and that can only augur well for our future,” said Nathalie Jolie-Fanis, head of the SALCC Marketing and Communications Department.

Fanis was also involved in the one-day workshop provided to the ten finalists, which focused on refining their speaking and presentation skills, as well as deepening their knowledge of key tourism topics.

“I really treasured the opportunity to work with the ten finalists this year and look forward to seeing their growth as speakers in the future,” said Fanis.
