After performing at Hills and Valleys Inspirational Jazz in Bexon over the weekend, Schreffler Maxwell is all set to take on Kingdom Night at the mainstage on May 7.
But Maxwell isn’t the only local lined up for the event.
Cleopatra Jules (a vocal powerhouse, intercessor and ‘warrior’) will also take on the mainstage as well as talented artists like Anchele Biroo, JCK Worship and Vincent Pierre.
The Jazz & Arts Festival, which commenced on April 30 and ends May 11, is shaping up to be an exciting event.
Cleopatra Jules
“I’ve just been preparing for this wonderful night,” Jules said recently, noting that there’s been “a lot of rehearsals … and it has a lot to do with being mentally ready.”
She said it’s like watching a dream come true.
“These are things that you hope for, you anticipate… and you plan for… It’s not something I take for granted,” Jules said.
At the start of this year, in January, she released ‘I Didn’t Know (Come Out)’, a powerful worship anthem.
The video has garnered over 1000 views on YouTube since then.
Schreffler Maxwell
He sings with passion and conviction, and for those who know Maxwell well, they know that for him, it’s all about Christ.
When he was asked to perform at the festival, Maxwell said he was elated.
“I couldn’t do anything really … I did not expect it,” he said.
He has released a slew of singles, including ‘Easy’, ‘Winner’, ‘Joy’, ‘Thick and Thin’ and ‘Born for This’.
“From his early childhood years, one can say that his initial stage appearance at age thirteen was predestined. Schreffler participated in the Micoud Secondary School Calypso Competition and emerged victorious. His performance confirmed that he was indeed born to grace the stage. Throughout secondary school, he continued to participate in talent shows, eventually becoming part of ‘Level 4’, a singing group with notable hits such as ‘In Her Life’ and ‘Said it Before’,” his biography notes.
Not long after, He made the decision to embark on his solo musical journey, where he underwent a spiritual awakening and started his relationship with Jesus Christ. This encounter with the pure, unfiltered love that originates from an encounter with the Most High served as a hallmark moment in his musical career. From this point on, Schreffler was determined to counteract the ‘bad-boy music’ that is heavily defined by the glorification of drug use and violence,” the biography stated.
Moreover, “He is determined to push a message of truth, a message that acknowledges the anger and hate that exists in society, while encouraging youth to use the Most High as an alternative solution to deal with the issues they face.”
Anchele Biroo
Anchele Biroo is immensely gifted, there’s no doubt about it. Her voice is like honey – smooth, sweet and captivating.
She finds purpose in ministering through music.
“Growing up in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, she discovered her love for singing at the age of five, using it as a powerful way to connect with and uplift others,” her biography stated.
At Kingdom Night, we expect nothing but the best from this starlet
Vincent Pierre
He’s an emerging star.
According to Vincent, “I do believe that God has blessed me with a gift… a voice that is exclusive to me but a voice He expects me to use for His glory.”
He’s not taking it lightly.
“The good book tells us to sing of His wonders and tell men and women of His love, goodness and grace,” he stated.

Moreover, their Kingdom Night repertoire “will be a tapestry of traditional and contemporary gospel that appeals to a wide cross section of believers and gospel music lovers,” the website added.
