The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Elderly Affairs is urgently calling on the public to assist the National Blood Bank of Saint Lucia by donating blood.
According to the Ministry, the National Blood Bank of Saint Lucia is currently facing a critical shortage of blood donations, which poses a significant challenge to meeting the needs of emergencies, surgeries, and individuals with chronic illnesses.
“To address this dire situation, the Blood Bank is making a heartfelt appeal to the public to donate blood,” the Ministry wrote in a press release Thursday.
