On 4 November 2024 members of the Tapion Hospital team performed a fistulogram for a patient with a malfunctioning arterial venous fistula. This was made possible due to the foresight of Dr. Romel Daniel and the Board of Medical Associates in making the investment in a special piece of X-ray equipment.
The team comprised of Dr. Charles Greenidge, Sister Jacqueline Ryan, Sister Francisca Dickson, Nurse Kendra Cort, Mr. Scott Donnelly and our multi skilled radiographer Mr Sanders.
A special thank you to Dr. Dave Harnanan, a Trinidad based vascular surgeon, who guided the local team through the procedure. This represents the increased level of care that Tapion Hospital strives to bring to our patients with modern technology and cooperation with our regional partners.
