On Sunday April 30, 2023 Officers attached to the Traffic Unit responded to a report of a serious traffic accident on Darling Road, Castries, about 9:40 a.m.
The incident involved an auto minibus and two pedestrians, one of the individuals was identified as forty-seven (47) year old Ericka Franklin of Marisule, Gros Islet.
They both were both transported to the Owen King European Hospital (OKEUH) via ambulance. Ericka Franklin was listed in a critical condition by a medical practitioner.
On Sunday May, 7 2023 Officers were informed that Ericka Franklin succumbed at the Owen King European Hospital (OKEUH).
The matter is currently under investigation and updates will be provided in due course.
