Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of twenty-eight-year-old, Shanda Paul Lucien of Delieu Street, Soufriere.
A report of a shooting on Bridge Street, Soufriere was referred to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Soufriere Police Station about 8:50 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022.
Shanda Paul Lucien was transported to the Soufriere Hospital with apparent gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
UPDATE
On Thursday May 4, 2023 Officers of the Major Crimes Unit arrested and charged Francis Popo of Deville, Soufriere for the Murder of Shanda Paul Lucien. On Friday May 5, 2023 Francis Popo was escorted to the Second District Court where he was remanded in custody.
