
About 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2022, Officers attached to the Special Services Unit (North) were conducting mobile patrols when they intercepted a Toyota Voxy at Ti Rocher, Castries.
A search of the vehicle was conducted, and officers recovered a refrigerator, speaker and blender, suspected to have been stolen during a Burglary. The occupants were arrested and later charged for Unlawful Possession by officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department. Jamal Callender, a thirty-five year old resident of Corinth and Martin Edwards, a sixty-eight year old resident of Hospital Road, Castries were escorted before the First District Court, where they were granted bail as follows:
• $1500.00 cash or suitable surety
• Reporting to police stations one weekly.
• Travel restrictions.
The matter was adjourned to February 10, 2023, for case management.
