Surveyors Open Secretariat Tomorrow

The Institute of Surveyors (St. Lucia) Inc – ISSL, will reach another landmark with the opening of their Secretariat tomorrow, Thursday 27 October.

The secretariat will be located in the building housing the St. Lucia Seamen and General Workers Trade Union at the corner of Lanse Road and Desir Avenue.

The Institute, which represents five disciplines of Surveyors in Saint Lucia was established on the 26th of September 2003 and has a membership of over 90 professionals comprising  Land Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Building Surveyors, and Agricultural Surveyors.

The launch of the secretariat will take place at 3:30 p.m., where Hon. Stephenson King – Minister of Infrastructure, Ports, Transport, Physical Development and Urban Renewal will deliver an address.

In addition, the efforts of members will be recognised through the issuance of awards to members who have given Yeomans service to the Organisation over the years.

The association comprises  a nine-member executive headed by its President – Ms. Tryce Loctor-Polius – Quantity Surveyor.
