An unidentified gunman shot one-man multiple times, leaving him nursing injuries at the OKEU Hospital.
According to sources, a man in his mid-20s was wounded last night (July 30) in a drive-by shooting in Assou Canal, Grande Riviere, Gros Islet.
The Voice has not yet confirmed the identity of the victim, nor have investigators from the Royal St. Lucia Police Force revealed it.
The police, however, appealed for anyone with information leading to an arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the shooting in the community, while dismissing social media speculation that the latest shooting is in any way linked to the murder that occurred in the same area.
