Ride or Die is the latest and most impressive single-track release so far from Arnold Jules a.k.a. A J.  Gospel rapper, songwriter, recording artiste A J is no stranger to the Gospel scene, where he has ministered the word of God in the Rap genre for many years now.

Breaking into the musical world in 2011 where he stepped onto the stage shouting with a loud voice JEESUSSS!!! This has become his signature chant when ministering to large audiences in St. Lucia and other regional territories.  He is best known for his track ‘Gospel Insanity’ where he captured the hearts of young and old alike in 2011 when performing it and recently recorded and launched the video of the same title in 2020.

With his very popular song ‘Gospel Insanity’, A J captured the 1st Prize at the Caribbean Youth Fest in 2011 and went on to regain the title for two more consecutive years and in 2013 captured the overall Youth Star Award with his song ‘Limitless’.

After a hiatus of two years during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he spent most of his time writing new material, he released a brand new audio single in January 2020 ‘Ride or Die’.  The song has risen in popularity especially amongst the youth and so he has now launched the video of the same title, produced by Ajani Francis of Black Snow Productions.

This video was shot around an arts setting in Castries, where many of the murals done by St. Lucia’s leading painters were captured and has featured also the all women Sesame Street Bikers of Saint Lucia, known for their slogan ‘Ride Safe, Ride Smart’.  When asked what inspired him to write this song, he explained that the spiritual life is a journey where you either ride or you die for what you believe.

A J continues to compose music, as he is aspiring to release a full album in the very near future.  There is no stopping for this awe-inspiring Gospel rapper as he continues to bring the good news and do the work of the Almighty and continues to ‘Ride or Die’.
