PRESS RELEASE – A three-month promotional campaign by the Caribbean’s premier provider of energy solutions, SOL, ended yesterday with two persons walking away with $24, 000 each.
The promotion which started last November had weekly prizes of cash, spa treatments, car accessories and more.
“The main prize was $48,000 and one person could have won it if that person had multiple entries, however the big prize was designed for two winners,” said Lawrence Mc Naughton, SOL’s General Manager in Saint Lucia.
One of the weekly prizes was $3000 which someone won just before Christmas. Walking away with $24,000 each were Andrew Deterville and John Glasgow.
Mc Naughton promised more fantastic promotions in 2019 and gave an insight into the new member of the SOL service station family to be located next to Courts super store at Marisule, which is expected to open later this year.
That service station, he said will be different to all other service stations in the country in that it will be extraordinary.
“We are pushing this site as our flagship site. Think of the future, think of all the things you could do at a service station in the first world and expect that you will be able to do them there,” Mc Naughton said, adding that while one may not be able to do all what he/she may want to do on the day the service station opens, the station will at some point be a 24 – hour station offering customers a service where they could swipe their credit or debit at the pump itself to paid for their petrol.
“We envisage you taking your children there on a weekend to have fun. A lot will be happening at our SOL, Bois d’ Orange, Marisule site,” Mc Naughton said.
