Chamber to host Crime and Security Seminar

PRESS RELEASE – AS the country enters the busiest shopping period of the year, concerns over security abound with the spate of crimes against the Commercial Sector.

In an effort to provide the Business Community with some useful information to mitigate the risks of crime, the St Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture will be hosting an insightful and interactive seminar titled “Crime Prevention & Security For Your Business”.

On Thursday 6th December 2018, at the Finance Administrative Center, Pointe Seraphine this time-relevant and informative seminar, will run from 3:00p.m.to 6:00p.m., in conjunction with the Royal St. Lucia Police Force, the Insurance Council of Saint Lucia.

Three knowledgeable private firms who offer high quality solutions will also participate, namely Digicel Saint Lucia, G4S and FLOW, will share expert advice and information on practical, but inexpensive steps that businesses – large and small can pursue almost immediately.

This seminar focuses on addressing concerns consistent with one of the Chamber’s priority advocacy issues – Law and Order – and is a small step in providing real valuable support to members’ with regards to security concerns.

The Chamber is convinced that while the Police and the State must play a leading role in arresting crime, firms must play their part and better prepare themselves and their staff to minimize the effects of crime as well as secure their lives and property. (Chamber of Commerce)
