ON the heels of last weekend’s goal spree where a total of 26 goals were scored including two hat tricks, the Northern Zone Under – 14 Championship will continue today and tomorrow at the Grand Riviere Playing Field.
Three games are slated for today as the young and aspiring footballers representing the various teams continue to showcase their skills on centre stage. At 11:00 a.m. GMC United plays Reduit FC, and Ti Valley meets Fond Assau at 1.00 p.m. Northern United plays Big Players from 3:00 p.m.
Tomorrow another three games are scheduled at the same venues, at 11:00 a.m. Lancers plays Ciceron Seagulls, Valley Soccer takes on First Touch/Pioneers at 1.00 p.m. and VSADC plays B1 Juniors from 3.00 p.m.
Also tomorrow the FA Fantasy Inter-District Companions League 16th round will take place at the Fond Assau Playing Field in Babonneau.
In Game 1 from 2.00 p.m. – Gros Islet (Manchester City) versus La Clery (FC Porto ) followed by Babonneau (Schalke) against Dennery (Chelsea) at 4.00 p.m.
