DIGICEL through its themed campaign “Digicel Helping Hands” is going one step further in its efforts to contribute to the relief efforts for Dominica after the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.
St. Lucians are encouraged to make their donation to the Dominica Relief Fund by texting the word ‘HELP’ to 5151 to donate $2 today.
Immediately after the passing of the storm, Digicel St. Lucia contracted a fleet of boats to deliver food supplies, water, toiletries, cleaning agents and clothing to Dominica.
Digicel Saint Lucia also extended the boats stay in Dominica in order to facilitate the Dominican Red Cross accessing communities which were not accessible by road. The staff and management Team of Digicel St Lucia has also been actively contributing through the donations of clothing, food supplies and toiletries.
Digicel St. Lucia engineers have been on the ground assisting in the restoration of the infrastructural damage done to the communication network in Dominica.
Digicel has called on Saint Lucians to join the movement to help Dominica and to participate in the Digicel text to donate campaign. St Lucians are asked to text the word HELP to 5151 to donate $2 to the Dominica relief fund.
