AS old man winter lashes North America with frigid Arctic storms and sub-zero temperatures, The Landings St. Lucia is welcoming guests escaping wintry climes with offerings designed to warm body, soul and spirit.
The all-suite, luxury Caribbean villa resort has spruced up its offerings by adding a new dining option, upgrading an existing restaurant, and opening a new sunset beach bar. A new gift shop and boutique invites guests to linger in the lobby area and offers standard resort amenities as well as St. Lucian-branded gifts and souvenirs.
“We are not resting on our laurels or on our reputation as a leading hotel in the Caribbean,” said Kashmie Ali, Managing Director of the award-winning resort. “Instead, we are working even harder to ensure that all our guests can expect a refreshing, revitalising experience when they visit The Landings.”
The AAA Four Diamond Award resort has doubled the seating capacity of the Beach Club Restaurant with an open air beach front deck, and introduced “Callaloo,” a new pop-up menu restaurant, featuring authentic St. Lucian fare.
“Callaloo is a shining example of farm-to-table possibilities in St. Lucia, serving delicious local culinary treats with the freshest ingredients – from island-braised curry goat with cinnamon, bay leaf, potato and spinach to our delightful St. Lucian Conch Salad with sweet pepper and ginger on a bed of spinach,” stated Ali.
Juicy, local fruits also feature in the blended cocktails, with an expansive premium drink selection served at the new sunset “Turquoise Beach Bar,” which features its blissful signature drink “Sweet Euphoria,” an individualized exotic blend of vodka, mixes and garnish.
