THE funeral will be held at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception at 2:00 p.m. today.
Francois, who passed away on November 15 at the age of 90, served as Parliamentary Representative for the East Castries constituency for the period June 1964 to April 1974. He was a former Minister of Education and founding member of the opposition United Workers Party.
The body will lie in repose at the House of Parliament from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to be followed immediately afterwards by the funeral ceremony.
Francois body will then be cremated.
