CHAIRPERSON of the Tourist Board, Agnes Francis has denied reports that employees have been dismissed to make way for the new tourism entity the board is transitioning into called the Tourism Authority. Francis, who took over the day to day operations of the Tourist Board after the unexpected resignations of its director Louis Lewis and his deputy Tracey Warner-Arnold two months ago, admitted that none of the staff had been terminated.

THE St Lucia Tennis Association successfully hosted a five day overnight training and development camp which ended yesterday for 12 & under players at the National Tennis Centre (NTC) in Beausejour, Gros Islet. JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board confirmed that Alzarri Joseph and Nikita Miller were fined, and Roshon Primus was reprimanded for breaches of the Code of Conduct during the fourth round of matches in the Digicel Regional 4-Day Tournament which ended on Monday. All three players admitted to the offences and accepted the sanctions proposed by the respective match referees, meaning there was no need for formal hearings.
