Police are investigating reports of a double murder in the community of Bogius, Babonneau.
The discovery of the two individuals was made early Saturday morning.
Photos of two bodies laying face down on the ground, one with an apparent wound to the head was circulated on messaging platforms.
The morbid scene was punctuated with a visible firearm next to one of the victims with a live round in the chamber.
