St. Lucian – American fashion designer Denzel Parris continues to make progress in the US with the launching in Los Angeles last week of “A Private Showing 2026”- an intimate presentation of his new fashions.

Denzel, who is the son of St. Lucian parents Dennison and Dian Parris formerly of Reduit Orchard but now in Georgia, first gained national attention in the US, seven years ago with an appearance on the Tamron Hall show on ABC Miami, on 19th November 2019, as Fashion Designer of the Day.  Not only were his latest designs showcased on the programme, but Hall, whose show is syndicated nationally, also wore a dress designed by Parris who had launched his luxury fashion house Denzel Parris International in 2016.

Denzel is now based in Los Angeles where his most recent exhibition brought together fashion, community, and purpose, with the runway presentation supporting the fight against cancer while showcasing the evolving vision of the Denzel Parris brand.

As a designer building an international luxury fashion house, Denzel continues to use his platform to represent Caribbean excellence, refined tailoring, and intentional storytelling on a global stage.

Beyond the Los Angeles presentation, A Private Showing is being developed as a broader platform designed to connect fashion, culture, philanthropy, and community through curated experiences. The long-term vision is to expand the concept into additional markets while continuing to spotlight meaningful causes, celebrate diverse communities, and strengthen the brand’s connection to Saint Lucia and the wider Caribbean.
