On Sunday, May 24, 2026, about 11:45 a.m. officers of the Richfond Police Station received a report of a vehicular accident along the La Caye Highway.
The officers responded to the scene of the accident and preliminary investigations revealed that a motor vehicle and a motorcycle collided with each other.
The sole rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to the Dennery Hospital for medical attention.
Officers were later informed by a medical practitioner that the rider who has since been identified as twenty-eight-year-old Lenus Alphonse of Belair, Castries succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner at the facility.
