A historic milestone was achieved as the Government of Saint Lucia officially handed over the new headquarters of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC), now located at Orange Grove Plaza, Gros Islet. The modern facility is designed to reflect the dignity of the law and the professionalism of those who serve within the regional judicial system.
Speaking at the official handover ceremony, Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre underscored the importance of the occasion, noting that the event symbolizes more than just the opening of a new building.

“Today, we mark not just the opening of a building, but the renewal of a promise — one that we, as a government and as a region, made to uphold the rule of law, to strengthen our institutions, and to ensure that justice is served fairly, efficiently, and accessibly to every citizen of the OECS,” Prime Minister Pierre stated.
The new ECSC headquarters represents a major step forward in judicial modernization and regional cooperation, providing state-of-the-art facilities that will enhance the administration of justice across the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

The complex stands as a regional model of excellence, symbolizing Saint Lucia’s continued leadership and commitment to promoting institutional integrity, good governance, and the rule of law within the Eastern Caribbean.
