THE Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) is aware of the grave inconvenience posed by the processing of passports. One of the steps taken thus far under the guidance of the Acting Commissioner Mr. Ronald Phillip, was to designate Sundays, as a day for the collection of passports.
Between Sunday the 20th day of July 2023 and Monday the 14th day of August 2023, the Immigration Department issued five thousand one hundred and eighty-one (5181) passports in total. We are also pleased to report that a large number of persons are utilizing the Sunday service. During this period, the Sunday distributions accounted for five hundred and thirty-two of those passports.
The Acting Commissioner of Police and the executive of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force would like to extend its immense gratitude to the general public for their co-operation, and continued support, as we examine all available options to make improvements to this process.
To the Officers attached to the Immigration Department, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force thank you for your dedication and service, as work continues on a conducive location.
