Two Men Charged for Olsen Arthur Murder

Two men have been charged for causing the death of Olson Arthur, a water taxi operator.

On Friday, November 25, 2022 about 12:45 a.m., officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, Gros Iset Police Station, received a report of a shooting in Rodney Bay.

On arrival, officers were informed that Arthur, a 39-year -old resident of Gros Islet, was shot multiple times by unknown assailants. He was conveyed to the OKEU Hospital, however he was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.

Tristan George a thirty-four-year old resident of Bois D’Orange, Gros Islet and thirty-nine-year old Dwight Polimis of Babonneau were formally charged on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 for causing Arthur’s death.

According to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, both individuals are remanded in custody “pending further case management.”
