The Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association (SLCFA) is set to hold its 7th Biennial General Meeting on Saturday, December 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the Saint Lucia Olympic Committee House, La Clery, Castries.
During the opening session, the SLCFA will honor the legacy of the late President and Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz as they mark the 9th Anniversary of his passing (November 25, 2016).
The SLCFA will also recognize its dedicated members for their significant contributions to the Association.
Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia, H. E. Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, will speak, alongside other prominent figures.
Key agenda items for the meeting include the election of officers to the Executive Committee for the next two years (2025-2027) and the President’s and Treasurer’s Report, which will provide updates on the Association’s activities and future directions.
THe association welcome all individuals interested in joining us to help strengthen the ties between Saint Lucia and Cuba.
The Saint Lucia-Cuba Humanistic Solidarity Association (HSA), now known as the Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association (SLCFA), was established on August 28, 2005.
The SLCFA states : Our mission is to promote the Cuban cause, foster cordial relations between the people of Cuba and Saint Lucia, and develop cultural exchanges between our two nations.
