Five former Kaiso Monarchs feature in a lineup packed with talent, alongside exciting new contenders for the Saint Lucia’s Kaiso Monarch finals on July 12.

Nine artists are set to challenge defending Monarch Dezral in what promises to be a fiercely competitive showdown.

The finalists are: Ashe – TOT/Soca Village, Educator – Fire One, Juiceman – TOT/Soca Village, Lushanne – South Calypso Tent, Menell – SCT, Mystic – Kaiso Pros Tent (KPT), Ready – Fire One, TC Brown – KPT, and Ti Carro – TOT/Soca Village.

Former monarch Ti Carro is back, presenting two powerful tracks: “Beyond Numbers” and “Recovery,” where he candidly addresses his struggles in partnering with a political party.

Educator brings wit and humor to the stage with “Drunk Cars Great Again” and “Great Again,” praising Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre and his cabinet for their stewardship.

Menell delivers hard-hitting social commentary with “Victims of Society” and “Thou Shall Not Kill,” condemning those who exploit hardworking citizens and making a plea on behalf of victims of gender -based violence.

TC Brown ignites the crowd with his passionate support for the government in “My Choice” and “Kaiso,” advocating for greater recognition and promotion of the art form, especially at major events like the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival.

Herb Black showcases his versatility as a seasoned performer, delivering entertaining hits like “Juju Time” and “Is Us That Deh,” demonstrating that veterans truly know how to run the show.

Juiceman captivates with his growing popularity and engaging stage presence, performing “Write The Wrong” and “My Government Working,” rallying support for his party.

Ashe, a newcomer, impresses with “The Devil Don’t Need Horns” and pays tribute to national coach and beloved ‘Tent Pinez’ fan Cuthbert “Trois Tee Nee” Modeste with the heartfelt “Unsung.”

Mystic displays lyrical prowess with “Home” and “Mental Health,” while Lushanne makes history as the first Carnival Queen to reach the Kaiso competition finals, with “How We Love” and “Crown Them,” honoring the resilience and nurturing spirit of women.

Ready electrifies the audience with her powerful performances of “Place for Them Run” and “Run,” galvanizing support for Juju Alfred.

This competition is set to be thrilling, showcasing the best of Kaiso music and artistic expression.
