
This weekend, the SLFA Inc. Boys Under-12 District League football competition, supported by the Ministry of Youth Development & Sports, National Lotteries Authority, and ACADO, culminates with the final round of matches at The Corinth Playing Field and the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery.
Three decisive matches remain to complete the first stage of the competition.

The fixtures are as follows:
On Saturday, at the Technical Centre:
– Vieux Fort North vs. Anse La Raye – 10:00 am
– Central Castries vs. Babonneau – Corinth P.F. – 10:00 am – South Castries vs. Roseau Valley – Corinth P.F. – 11:00 am
So far, a total of 33 matches have been played, resulting in 102 goals and five hat-tricks. Following the penultimate round of matches, the points standing are as follows:
Group I
– Soufriere – 16 pts,
– Mon Repos – 13 pts
– Micoud – 10 pts
– Anse La Raye – 9 pts
– Choiseul – 6 pts
– Vieux Fort North – 3 pts
– Laborie – 0 pts.
Anse La Raye, currently on 9 points (goal difference of 4), must secure at least a draw in their final game to advance alongside Soufriere and Mon Repos. Micoud sits at 10 points with a goal difference of 8.

Group II
– Gros Islet – 16 pts
– Central Castries – 13 pts
– Roseau Valley – 9 pts
– Marchand – 5 pts
– Babonneau – 4 pts
– La Clery – 3 pts
– South Castries – 1 pt.
Central Castries, with a game in hand, stands at 13 points, while Roseau Valley, also with a game in hand, has 9 points.
It’s clear that Gros Islet, Central Castries, and Roseau Valley will advance to the second stage.
The second stage of the competition will kick off on July 12, featuring six qualifiers joining the four seeded teams: Dennery, Desruisseaux, Mabouya Valley, and Vieux Fort South.
This will be followed by a single round-robin competition to determine which of the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals and finals.
