President of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu scheduled a number stops on his visit to St. Lucia. One such stop was his visit to the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College {SALCC} Tuesday. Participants of the morning visit included Minister of Education Shawn Edward and Chairman of the SALCC Board Cletus Springer.
Prior to his visit to the grave site of Sir Derek Walcott and Sir Arthur Lewis as well as the Sir Derek Walcott Library, President was treated to a vibrant cultural presentation by the SALCC student which he thoroughly enjoyed.
In his brief discourse, President Tinubu encouraged faculty member to visit the African country to experience the education system firsthand. This falls inline with a previous announcement of potential scholarships for St. Lucian students in the next academic year.
