I think his one regret was not being made Saint Lucia’s Ambassador to Taiwan. He felt he was the most qualified for the post and was extremely disappointed he did not get that position. The Taiwanese Embassy saw him as a loyal friend who promoted the right of the country’s right to self-determination.
Built a family in the later part of his life, his youngest child still only 11 years. He was proud of it.
