The family, friends, and colleagues of Earl Francis are mourning his recent passing. He was a dedicated member of the St. Lucia Branch of The Royal Commonwealth Ex-Service League, known for his unwavering commitment to the cause.
Francis passed away this week after taking on the lead role in the league following the death of Dorothy Pilgrim, another esteemed member.
Affectionately known as Mr. Francis, he was a meticulous individual who devoted himself to caring for the league’s members. His absence will be felt deeply this coming Remembrance Day.
Despite battling illness for some time, he never wavered in his dedication to his responsibilities. The former police officer was relentless in his preparations for Remembrance Day, and both the employees at the Prime Minister’s office and the government printery will keenly feel the void he leaves behind.
May he rest in peace.
