Julien Alfred Receives Hero’s Welcome From 1st National Bank

1st National Bank went all out on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 to welcome home and offer congratulations to NCAA Division 1 Women’s 100M Champion and Silver Medalist, Julien Alfred for her outstanding performance in the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

According to Executive Officer in Charge Mrs. Valery Marshall St. Omer, welcoming Ms. Alfred is of tremendous significance to the bank. Similar to decorated world-class high jumper, Levern Spencer, Julien is a product of the 1st National Bank 14 and Under Games.

Julien and her mother, Joanna, thanked 1st National Bank for their kind hospitality and for recognizing Julien’s phenomenal accomplishments.

“As an indigenous Bank, we are so proud of you Julien and all your achievements to date. You are truly an inspiration for the youth and young women not only in St. Lucia but in our region. I would like to offer sincere congratulations on behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the 1st National Bank,” St. Omer said.

Staff gathered outside the bank’s head office to welcome Julien and her mom with much excitement. The brief welcome ceremony continued within the Dr. Charmaine Gardner Boardroom where the bank’s representatives expressed words of welcome and encouragement to the star athlete and wished her continued success in her future sporting events. The bank treated its guests to some light refreshments and presented them with flowers and gifts.

  1. That explains why the Lines at First National were so long that day, since presumably most of the staff were at the event.!!!

    That doesn’t of course explain why the lines are always so long at 1st National ( and all the other Banks for that matter !!! )

    Why don’t the big bosses of all these banks get the butts out onto the sidewalks ( instead of hiding in their back rooms ) and see what the effect their collective indifference to their customers situation really means !!!

    They are a disgrace as so called Managers
