The out-of-control gun situation on the island has claimed yet another life.
Officers from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force are actively pursuing a suspect or suspects in the island’s latest shooting that claimed the life of one individual.
According to reports, officers attached to the Choiseul Police Station were alerted about a shooting in the community.
The man, who was still conscious when curious and concerned onlookers arrived, succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.
The latest killing has taken the island’s homicide toll to 68 for the year.
