Leader of the Opposition Philip J. Pierre has again kept the Castries East seat red.

The labour party stalwart kept United Workers Party opponent Fortuna Belrose socially distanced from a threatening tally as he amassed a total of 3700 votes, 1877 better than his nearest rival.
Pierre has been the parliamentary representative for the Castries East constituency since 1997 for the Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP). He became Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport in 2011.
