Former Prime Minister and independent candidate for Castries North, Stephenson King reminded the electorate why he is a force to be reckoned with.

After breaking ties with his long-time party, the United Workers Party, King opted to contest the candidacy of Castries North as an Independent candidate.
Going up against the machinery of the United Workers Party seemed a mammoth task, however, King managed to win over the electorate amassing a whopping 3643 votes, 2113 better than his nearest opponent.
