A police vehicle engaged in prisoner escort was yesterday afternoon involved in a collision with two other vehicles.
According to officials from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, on Monday afternoon, at approximately 12:45 pm, the marked police vehicle with sirens turned on, collided with the two other vehicles, one of which was in a parked position.
The police officer was taken to the OKEU Hospital for medical treatment.
The police department gave no word on the occupants of the other vehicle nor the prisoner who was being escorted.
A full investigation into this latest collision is currently under investigation.
